Timucuan Ecological and Historical Preserve – This is a historical park where preserved structures can be found to give visitors a feel of what it was like to live in Jacksonville centuries ago. Some of the things you will see there are the Ribault House; the plantation where indigo, cotton, and sugar cane used to be harvested; fort Caroline; and the wide area of protected wetlands.
Things to Do
Go Surfing – Jacksonville Beach is a long stretch of water that offers good waves for surf enthusiasts. If you are one, then do not forget to pack your surfboard for with you and enjoy the waters under the lovely weather.
Bike Tour – A good way to tour Jacksonville is by riding a bike. A guide will lead you to different points of interests, making the ride fun and very entertaining. Bike rides are usually filled with laughter. This time it becomes better because you are going to be educated too.
